I’m a guy. Been to Lilith Festival by myself.

And offered grape soda at the altar of this woman.

I’ve never been the type to faun over a celebrity.

But I love this woman. Have from the first time I heard her play.

Loved this lady since she first danced across my tv screen in 1992. Turns out I even saw her before then during her short lived acting career and thought she was cute then. Im a total EWF.

I saw her play once in LA when the power went out and it turned into an unplugged concert in the dark, and it was one of the most amazing experiences, completely unexpected, couldn’t have predicted it, absolutely stellar.

    Generally I like death metal.

Little Earthquakes was my go to sleep cassette for many a night. Belly’s Star was a close second.

I was lucky enough to meet her twice. No regrets on the time I spent attending as many shows as I could locally. It was a magical time.

She had me so enthralled with Little Earthquakes. Then when that rocking song “God” was the first single from her next record I was so happy that she was going to rock out. Wrong.
Boys For Pele followed and I was done. Alas.

Totally amazing singer and songwriter. I am a bit taken back by how much plastic surgery she’s done over the years; it doesn’t seem like it aligns with her ethos.

Vivid memory, at a haunted house October 1992, hearing a cassette of her covers… Talk about haunting!!

Saw her play in a small venue sometime in the early 90s and she was doing the sexiest things while playing piano. Definitely left an impression.
