Too seldom mentioned in the list of recently passed beloved artists. I miss him.

Wasn’t he on King of the Hill? Lucky, right? He does look just like him too.

1995, fourth grade, my first concert! I’m pretty sure my mom took me as a spite move towards my dad after their divorce a year earlier. But, hey, it was amazing! I found a $20 on the floor and bought a t-shirt… still have it although it’s not wearable cause it looks like Swiss cheese! “Dogs With Wings Tour” I’ll never forget it. Tom will always be one of most favorite artists for sure! RIP and happy spirit birthday ole pal ❤️

The 70’s were a good time for fashion in many ways.

One of the GOATs, but he looked like a fish pretending to be a man.

Holy shit. I started listening to him probably in ’83. Never really occurred to me that their debut was in ’76.

Collaborated with many great musicians too. Gave respect, received respect.

Recommend “Tom Petty’s Buried Treasures” on Sirius XM.

Just heard “Here comes my girl” from Damn the Torpedos. According to the DJ the album was kept out of the #1 spot by Pink Floyd’s epic release The Wall.

    I’m a big Petty fan
