THE must-have toy in the mid-70s.

Still have the dragster and the stunt van at moms house. The van had the ramp that attached so he could jump over it.

Yes! I had three favorite childhood toys. My Tyco slot car race track, my Star Wars Death Star figure set and my Evel Knievel stunt cycle!

Yes! Yes! Yes! And he had an RV support vehicle as he took his stunts on the road. The figure was very bendable, though his hands could stay firmly on the handlebars, enabling all manner of excellent poses as you revved up the motorcycle and sent him racing away, over ramps, down stairs, off cliffs, etc. Potentially #1 toy from my childhood.

I used to play with one of these at my grandparents. It belonged to my uncle. I’m sure I inevitably destroyed it and it was thrown away.

I got one of these around 1982 or so, when I was 10. I loved this toy. I was obsessed with motorcycles, monster trucks, mud bogs, drag cars, and jumping over stuff on my bmx bike. Having a toy motorcycle that could jump over stuff, too, was awesome.

I had this. It came with a ramp and his motorhome. The ramp connected to the motorhome and you could jump it! Good times! No batteries required. Crank it up and let er fly!

I remember playing with my cross street neighbor with his in his driveway. His drive was sloped towards the road and we had a jump towards the bottom. Evel used to crash when going over the jump, till one time he didn’t, landed on the wheels and shot into the street when it got hit by a car.

After a long day tearing it up outside on my Big Wheel. I would spend the evening bouncing Evel Knieval Stunt Cycle off of anyone’s feet who entered the kitchen.

My dad refused to get me one on the grounds that I would try the same stunts on my own bicycle. As if that would stop me.
