Cheers (1981) – The greatest sitcom ever. Grew up with this gang of hilarious barflies. No show delivered more one-liners, huge laughs and zingers per episode. Most amazing ensemble cast as well. Sammy, Cliff, Norm, Frasier, Woody, Lillith, etc. Cried when it ended, like losing best friends.

Kelly, my darlin’, you are my sunshine.
When we’re together, I feel fine.
Your smile is so lovely, your hair is so clean.
You make me feel the whole world is mine.

Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, K-E-L-L-Y. Why? Because you’re

Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly of mine.

Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine.

Seriously though, I absolutely loved this show when I was a kid and rewatched all of the episodes as an adult a few years back. I wish I had a place like that where I could go every day. That show got me through some tough times. It’ll forever hold a special place in my heart.

I always wondered how they’d handle a Cliff character since the invention of google. Every ‘fact’ he spouts could be verified within seconds by everyone.

I think the show suffered with Rebecca for her first 3 seasons. after that they kind of pushed her out of the spotlight and it became a more even ensemble. she was just a sad excuse for a character. one of my favorite shows! it’s always on my rotation.
