Super glue for cuts is well known among some Chefs because unlike plasters it is waterproof, keep in mind it should only be used on small cuts, not punctures and it is advised to use medical glue but moment glue does the job for me

It’s a toxic skin irritant if it isn’t medical glue. Fyi.

Just use the liquid bandage instead. It’s also waterproof, and most importantly not toxic.

Wasn’t this what super glue was initially intended to be used for when it was invented?

Former line cook, here. Can confirm that this definitely can seal up a small cut. The burning sensation means it’s working! Lol

Have used super glue on cuts in lieu of stitches more than once. Just make sure its cleaned, and keep the glue from getting in the actual cut. Poor people and blue collar workers have done this for years.

I keep Vetbond in the drawer in case of cuts. Just like Derma bond but you can get it easier.

Can anyone explain to me why liquid bandage burns like hell and super glue doesn’t? It would seem like that should be the opposite, since one is made for wounds and the other supposedly isnt.

Love superglue for this. Absolute gift.

It peels/flakes off rather easy, no lasting damage.
