That sounds like it’s working better than it did before then.

This is such a niche thing to complain about

Summary: “For identity we need to look at a thing but it does not work when the thing is covered with equipment” – while I sympathize with everyone who needs to wear a CPAP mask it seems like a difficult problem to solve.

They should create an ALT Face feature where you can load up the masked version of yourself and the non-mask

Obviously they should have touchID and faceID together. There are so many times when I have a mask or I have the wrong angle and I want to unlock my phone, I’m sure that’s true for most people.

Not the best example picture for the article. The person’s hand is also obstructing their face so not really clear if it is due to both things combined or just the CPAP mask.

The fact we can’t have Face ID and Touch ID in the iPhone is just laughable. I switched from an Android to an iPhone 11 mid-pandemic and the whole Face ID experience is frustrating. Just wish I could have a fingerprint scanner again.
